This blog documents progress on our house project from the beginning up until now. It is a team effort between me, my wife and my sons Paul and Jonathan. Basement Preparation - Step 2
The second step is establishing a perimeter drain and sump system. This sump system consists of three pumps - main pump, a backup pump (both electrically operated) and a third battery operated pump powered by a dry cell deep discharge battery.
