This blog documents progress on our house project from the beginning up until now. It is a team effort between me, my wife and my sons Paul and Jonathan. We are forever grateful for the help of Phil Burrow, Winston Deblanc (finish carpentry and painting) and Jaime Pierson (plumbing and HVAC). Our framer had been Scott Greve, our roofer Chris Carlton, grader is Trey Gorze, foundation work by Solid As a Rock, Inc., soil engineering work by GME Engineers, and our banker BB&T.

Basement Construction - 1
The next crew to arrive is that of Scott Greve the framer. He will construct the basement, the post and beam structure and the garage. Big piles of lumber arrived as the crew stated their layout work.
